The Manchester clubbing scene of the late 80's & early 90's provided the inspiration that started Scotts interest in House music. After learning his trade playing in many pubs & house parties around the city, a few club appearences here and there started to wet his appetite for life behind the decks. His main influence was a DJ called Jay Wearden.

"Without going to his nights I don't think I would ever have bought my first set of decks."

After joining Les Craosdaile, Barkery & Ste Lee on the ALL FM "Liquid" radio show in September 2002, things start to take shape. Loads of local and international talent was featured on the show and some great and long standing friends were made. Shortly after the show finished Stylus began in October 2003.

"Playing in Barcelona, Ireland and Norway have been real highlights. Also getting to play on the same bill as the likes of Phil Weeks, Jimpster, Justin Long, Hipp E & Mark Farina to name only a few has also been special."

Scott is representing Stylus at the Lake Of Stars festival in Malawi, Africa in Oct 2007 to raise money for a Unicef water santitation project.
